You don’t need years of experience to break into the music industry. But you DO need the passion, the curiosity and someone to show you how it all works. That’s what our offerings are all about! From free resources to our course The Art of Live Events. By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid foundation, real confidence, and the tools to start applying for roles in the industry. As you build experience, you’ll be ready to step into backstage positions like Promoter Rep, Production Assistant, Touring Assistant, Artist Liaison, Venue Rep, or Event Coordinator. Whether your dream is to stay local or tour across the country, you’ll walk away with the tools to step into these roles and start building a paid career in live music.
And if you’re wondering whether you can actually do this... Yes, you can.
I started out with no connections, just a love for music and a part-time sound engineering course under my belt. I worked retail at a music store, then worked my way through various roles: Intern, Artist Liaison, Merch Seller, Box Office Rep, Events & Marketing Coordinator, Event Operations Manager, Production Coordinator and eventually, supporting local venues and even touring as a Promoter Rep across Western Canada. I’ve trained and mentored new reps in person, and now, I’m here to help you do the same. What I’ve learned along the way is that you don’t need to fit a mold or have a perfect background, you just need a starting point, direction, and the willingness to show up and learn.
The music industry is meaningful, sometimes chaotic, creative, incredibly fulfilling, and full of cool opportunities. If you’re someone who thrives around creativity and wants a role that feels aligned with who you are, this course and our free resources are your invitation. You can build a life around this. You can grow, shift, and evolve with your career as your life changes, while staying connected to the music, the artists, and the kind of work that lights you up.
